Thank you all who have been praying for discernment and direction regarding where Dan and I are going to live. The Lord surrounded us in a situation that took the decision out of our hands. As we prayerfully walked through the last several months we waited in great anticipation to see His hand a work. Thankfully we did, which confirmed our desire to live and serve in Colorado after our July 2009 wedding.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff, faculty, and families of PCS for all they have contributed to my life personally and professionally these last three years. That investment began the afternoon I stepped out of my interview with Steve Bowers and Steve Hutton knowing that I wanted to work under the godly leadership of these men. The staff I serve alongside have been constant examples of Christian educators who live out what it means to be a part of a community of believers. Many PCS families have shown me the meaning of sacrifice to provide quality Christian education for their children. I have enjoyed our times of watching basketball games, applauding at band concerts, and praying tearfully over your students.
As I leave Peoria Philippians 1:3-5 will be the prayer on my heart:
“I thank God every time I remember you. In all of my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel for the first day until now…”
